Therapeutic phlebotomy is the controlled removal of a measured volume of blood, ordered by a provider when it is clinically indicated. At RejuvLV it is performed by our nurse practitioner in a quiet, supervised setting.
Therapeutic phlebotomy is part of our Recovery & Regeneration menu and is only offered following a consultation and appropriate lab work. It may be recommended for guests whose provider has identified a clinical reason to reduce red cell mass or iron stores, including some guests on hormone optimization protocols. Every session is documented and followed up.
